As an illustrator I really respond to the coloured version because colour is shiny and pulls me in but I like the black and white version for concept. Hmm... This is tricky. I don't think you should use the muted one because it just seems like it's halfway between the first two and therefor non-committal. :)

but the muted one reminds me of that time of night, and evokes a more smoky emotion
