The inspiration for this is a long and vaguely convoluted story, involving an article wherein spoons were a metaphor, and a friend's story about gambling desperately for laundry quarters, all topped off with a rather desperate weekend I had not yet long ago to make me feel comfortable with it.
Nonetheless, I'm happy with the result.
